And in many ways, this brand is also a quiet tribute to my late sister.
The one who taught me something simple that took me years to fully understand.

Where the Story Began - From Vanity to Comfort
In my 20s and early 30s, I believed wired bras were the only way to look "perfectly contoured".
Push-up. Lift. Shape.
Comfort was not something I thought much about.
But my late sister was completely different. She loved wireless bras and wore them all the time — even to sleep.
I used to tease her and warn her that wireless bras would make her breasts sag.
She would just laugh and say: “Comfort comes first. It’s perfect for lazy people like me.”
At that time, I didn’t fully understand what she meant.
To me, it was just one of those sister conversations you laugh about and forget later.
But life has a funny way of bringing certain words back to you.
My Late Sister's Words Stayed With Me
In 2019, I lost my sister to cancer. It was the same year, the world entered the COVID-19
pandemic, and life slowed down in ways none of us expected.
Maybe it was grief, maybe it was the endless days at home,
I finally tried wireless bras.
At first casually.
Then I realised something surprising — they were incredibly comfortable.
Soft support. No wires digging in. No pressure.
I found myself doing exactly what my sister used to do.
Wearing them all day. Even sleeping in them.
And suddenly, her words made sense.
"Comfort comes first."
Motherhood Changed Everything
A few years later (in 2023), I became a full‑time mum.
Motherhood is beautiful, but it also comes with sleepless nights, emotional highs and lows, and endless responsibilities.
During that phase, comfort became non-negotiable.
That’s when wireless bras became my lifesaver
Soft, breathable intimates made a real difference.
When your body is healing and your energy is stretched thin,

Moving From Singapore to Australia
In 2021, I moved to Australia after getting married.
It was a new chapter in life. One thing I didn’t expect?
I found it very difficult to find comfortable bras that fit Asian body shapes well.
The sizing, the cup shapes, the proportions — many simply didn’t feel quite right.
Every trip back to Singapore, I’d stocked up & stuff my luggage with lingeries.
My suitcase was basically 70% bras & underwear.
But after a while, I thought: There must be a better way.
Since I am billingual and speak decent Chinese, I started buying directly from manufacturers in China.
And guess what? The quality was excellent and the prices were fair.
That discovery planted a seed: what if I could make this easier, not just for me, but for other women too?
From Frustration to Inspiration
That frustration of not finding the right fit in Australia and
The joy of solving it myself - was the push I needed to start Blessie.
If I could combine the comfort I craved with honest sourcing and thoughtful design,
I knew other women would feel the same relief.
